The author of the paintings on posters is Polish painter Elzbieta Szolomiak, born in 1940. She used to traveling over the world, observing women living in many different countries and painting their pictures in very different situations. And as she said, giving permission for using her paintings for poster of the conference- war is death, it is totally opposite to women’s nature of giving and protecting life.
