This year’s International Legal Tech Competition on the theme “AI-Powered Legal Practice: Upholding the Rule of Law” was won by Joana Domingues representing Ordem dos Advogados Portugueses. Her presentation titled “AI-Powered Legal Services for Justice Equality: Prospects and Pitfalls” was recognized by an international panel of experts in the field of new technology law. The jury simultaneously recognized the other finalists:
▶ Michalina Gdula and Daria Świderska representing Wrocław Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law for the presentation “Simplify non-billable task with AI”
▶ Clara Perdices Onaindia, Jerzy Merchán Ortiz, and Cristina Fernández representing Biscay Bar Association for the presentation “The necessary continous training concerning AI”
▶ Karolina Wilamowska, Sonia Staniek and Emilia Florek representing National Bar Council in Poland for the presentation “Isabella: AI-driven legal assistant for IP lawyers”
