We are pleased to inform you that the 1st International Advocacy Forum in Krakow on October 21, 2022 will be held in a hybrid format- allowing for participation both in person and online.

Krakow Bar Association pledged 50 % of the online participation fee for the Ukraine Aid Fund of the Krakow Bar Association, which will be used to pay for the temporary housing for Ukrainian lawyers whose homes were destroyed (trailers), another ambulance with medical supplies, and/or other humanitarian aid.

The Independence of the Bar Association as the prerequisite of the rule of law is the subject of this year’s Forum.  Both systemic guarantees of independence and the responses of the bar association in face of the war and humanitarian crisis will be discussed.
